The boat ride over was smooth and comfortable, our stay at Kanimambo Lodge was five star! Our hike with Angelo through the mangroves to the Lighthouse was fun. Our snorkelling at Santa Maria was breathtaking with all the fish, a turtle and such pristine and clear waters. The Biologica was a little run down but the curator, Mr Queri Hobjuane , was extremely friendly and well versed in all island information. Inhaca Island is just first time we went here was on our honeymoon. We stayed at Machangulo Beach Lodge and we took a day trip snorkeling around the island. It was incredible! The water was so clean and clear that we could see meters down. We also booked a tour to explore the island - Jumped on a 4x4 and drove to the lighthouse, just a few stairs up and we were on top of the world! The second time we booked a snorkeling trip with Chill-hie Charters. They're located in Macaneta Island. It was great fun! We would definitely recommend visiting this island whether you're on honeymoon, just there to relax or on vacation with kids! Delicious seafood lunch. Crab curry delicious. But the water where the boats dock is brownish. Third island was better than the second island . Sand is hot. Wear your slippers.
